Photography & Film Production

Born in Cali, Colombia in October 21, 1989. Son of an artist mother and musician father. Formed as a Cinematographic Director at the Fundación Universidad Del Cine (FUC) in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 2008 to 2013. Here he directs his first short film: "Sartén" (2012), and co-directs, co-produces and co-writes the feature film "Delta" (2014) in collaboration with other six filmmakers. His work continually varies between direction, still photography and cinematography.

His first documentary feature film is "Algo más que fútbol" (Beyond Football) released in 2018, set during the 2014 Men's Football World Cup in Brazil  and exhibited in 6 international film festivals in 4 different continents. In 2022 he directs "The Nomad's Path", a documentary web series portraying the creation of Waco OS, a technology app developed for digital nomads.  His directorial work includes fiction and documentary short and feature films, advertising, music videos, educational, corporate, making off, and technology content. 

In 2017 he begins working as a Unit Stills Photographer, in the following years he works in several series such as El Chapo, Wild District, La Reina del Sur 2, Los Espookys, Echo 3, Eva Lasting,

One Hundred Years of Solitude, Seal Team and several other national and internacional productions. 

Our clients include Netflix, Paramount, HBO and AppleTV, amongst others.

The experience gathered throughout his career has led him to work next to filmmakers like Pablo Trapero, Carlos Moreno, Andrés Baiz, Claudia Llosa, Ernesto Contreras, Carlos Bolado, Laura Mora, Álex García, Mateo Stivelberg, Sebastián Silva, Julio Jorquera and several other internationally recognized directors in the film industry. He has photographed talents such as Sofía Vergara, Luke Evans, Kate Del Castillo, Omar Sy, Franka Potente, Fred Armisen, Yalitza Aparicio, Jim Belushi, Kerry Washington, Juan Pablo Raba, Cristina Umaña, Juan Pablo Urrego, Carolina Gaitán, Michel Brown, Martina Gusman, Humberto Busto, Michiel Huisman, Eric Roberts, Christian Tappan, Mónica Lopera and other well recognized talents.

Pablo has also developed as a cinematographer and camera operator for short films like Saturno Madrid (2019) shot in Spain, and series like Vikingas (2021) and Growing Belushi (2020), both shot in Colombia. 

After working in partnership with other production companies for years, he decides to create Kapas Films in 2021, with the goal of creating original content in film and photography, as well as providing unit stills and editorial photography for film and television studios, production companies and platforms. 

Pablo is a dual citizen from Colombia and Italy, fluent speaker in Spanish, English, Portuguese, and conversational in Italian.
